New M.I.A. feat. Blaqstarr video: ‘Way Down in the Hole’ (Tom Waits cover)

M.I.A. and Baltimore’s own Blaqstarr teamed up to do a Way Down in the Hole (Tom Waits) cover, mixing up various versions of the song that can be found as the theme song for The Wire. The song itself isn’t fantastic, but like any song featuring M.I.A. it has some crazy beats! In the hands of a capable DJ, this could rock a few clubs silly. From the video’s end, It’s clearly low budget, and…

Will.I.Am writes new song in honor of Obama’s victory

Finally, it’s over! After months and months of politically blabbering, when where ever you turned you’d hear only Obama vs McCain vs Palin vs Clinton vs bla bla, talks. I was beginning to have it up to here, you know. I can barely express how much I’m glad this whole elections mambo jambo is over. Although it’s been out for such a long time, I have to say I haven’t heard a single track off the new record, but…

AC/DC are the first band to ever release video in Excel format

If there was even a single doubt in your mind, it has to be shattered NOW. AC/DC fuc*ing rocks. After everything they’ve done, after releasing just dozens of massive classic hits, they just come back and ripped everything apart with their latest release, Black Ice. My fingers are just itching to write a review for that, so keep an eye out, cause the album’s just brilliant. But that’s not the issue here. The rock gods…

Ryan Adams and the Cardinals: ‘Cardinology’

Artist name: Cardinals Album name: Cardinology Label: Lost Highway Records Gender: Alternative Rock, Country Release date: October 28, 2008 ZMErating: 9.5/10 Website: www.ryan-adams.com From my point of view, it’s a big shame that Ryan Adams has been in the spotlight due to his drug related problems and mental meltdowns and tantrums than for artistic reasons. But if he had a chance to release an album that would rise him above his current level, Cardinology would…
