Can't you just say that even though Kroeger is an expert at what he does, you just don't like what he does? Music serves a different purpose for different people, and at different times. Sometimes, it's fun to listen to dumb party music and chug beers.. and I doubt Chad would argue he's trying to create anything other than music for that purpose. What really must be upsetting to you, is that he is not making music to serve YOUR purpose... Trust me, if Paper Route or whatever band's you like could figure out how to do what Nickelback is doing (i.e. sell 40 million records), they would. Nickelback is everyone’s favorite to rip on.
