Guns and Roses have every right to take legal action against a giant conglomerate like Dr. Pepper for exploiting their brand. Not only did they not formally create a partnership in this endeavor (which in itself is illegal on their part) but they didn't even follow through with their promise! G'N'R was being nice by letting this get as far as it did. This is America, we actually value our trademarks and copyrights.
