"The album was released in numerous formats, mostly digital, of which one was free (7 tracks long)"

Wrong.
For a start, Ghosts I is 9 tracks long.

The entirety of Ghosts I-IV is free under the Creative Commons license it was released under.
They only made the first volume available from nin.com for free, but fans were "free" to freely distribute it for free elsewhere.

reznor choosing crapholes to tour w is like obama choosing romney as a running mate. reznor becomes a walking contradiction if he don’t kick em off the tour for abusing the creative commons licence!! how desperate are you people for lame heroes??
