Indie, Other

P4K
We all know MTV’s nothing like it used to be, gone are the days of 24h non-stop music videos, to be replaced with superficial talk shows and hours upon hours of commercials. Internet, on-demand TV, seems to be the future of visual broadcasting entertainment now and popular Internet ezine Pitchfork Media knows this well. So, according to a recent announcement, Pitchfork.tv, the latest addition to the media giant’s family, will air live on April 7; one day before my birthday, coincidence or not?

The people behind Pitchfork intend on creating the first-ever music video channel dedicated to documenting independent music as it happens and promises to bring the indie scene to its audience a step further through original mini-documentaries, secret rooftop and basement sessions, full concerts, exclusive interviews, and the most carefully curated selection of music videos online. In addition the video resolution promises to be top notch for a maximum, crisp viewer experience. Good luck P4k with your new TV channel, you’ve certainly made us curios, but most of all anxious.
