New Smashing Pumpkins video: ‘That’s The Way (My Love Is)’
Thu, Aug 30, 2007
Billy Corgan and crew have been getting a lot of criticism since their highly publicized reunion and even more promoted new album Zeitgeist, but now Smashing Pumpkins are ready to shut all the big mouths our there with this latest thrilling and emotional video. “That’s The Way (My Love Is)” is actually the best song of Zeitgeist, a somewhat contemporary take on SP’s older work: alternative guitar riffs and drumming, orchestra violins on the background and Billy’s thick signature voice. The video is also reminiscent to the old days, looking like the love child between Tonight, Tonight and Rocket.

Sort of affirms my theory that Billy Corgan is an alien from the future. Good song nontheless…

haha very true, I could really think of a lot of nicknames for Billy right now, not the biggest fan :D. But indeed a good song, one of the few reasons i gave Zeitgeist a 7/10.
