The Austin SXSW has always been grand, with a lot great acts every year, never disappointed me and neither did them this year. The lineups were never spectacular, but they were always packed with fresh new unsigned bands. This year the number of obscure, unsigned, totally unknown, but talented bands is the hundreds area, just take a look at the ginormous alphabetized list of attendants at Gigwise.  SXSW takes place from March 7-16 and will this year see a keynote speech given by Lou Reed.
