Yesterday we unveiled the Sawdust cover art and it seems we can’t get enough of [tag]The Killers[/tag] lately. If you didn’t found their Joy Division take to your liking, then give another try to their latest teaser “Tranquilize,” featuring Velvet Underground frontman Lou Reed. It’s pretty much Killers work, nothing to fancy or unexpectedly brilliant, but pretty fun nevertheless, especially due to the Lou Reed duet; the man’s a god!

The Killears reveal B Sides collection cover art

Last week we had the chance to sample [tag]The Killers[/tag] latest take on a Joy Division classic, “Shadowplay”, cover which is present in the Las Vegas quartet upcoming B Sides, rarities and remixes album Sawdust. Today it’s time for another cover . . . cover art that is, as the record’s artwork has been revealed later today. It features a autumn forest landscape with a big and neglected arm in the center.

The Killers cover Joy Division for biopic

This week, what is considered, one of the best music biopics ever made, Control, is set to hit the US theaters. The movie follows Ian Curtis (Riley), the enigmatic frontman of Joy Division whose personal, professional, and romantic troubles led him to commit suicide at the age of 23.
