Today is a special day for all Americans. Today marks the day the US conquered oppression and embraced liberty; let’s hope we can do it again… Anyway we’ve said it before, this is not a place for politics, such trivialities can’t be found here. But considering today’s a day like no other, we’ve decided to celebrate Independence Day as best as we can: through music. With this in mid we’ve devised a mixtape comprised of several tracks packed with thought of liberty, patriotism and brotherly love. Enjoy!
- Bruce Springsteen - ‘Born In The U.S.A.’
- Soundgarden - ‘4th of July’
- Neil Young - ‘Ohio’
- Led Zeppelin - ‘Going to California’
- John Mellencamp’s - ‘R.O.C.K. In The USA’
- Bob Dylan - ‘Chimes Of Freedom’
- Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers ‘American Girl’
- Kim Wilde - ‘Kinds in America’
- Green Day - ‘American Idiot’
- Neil Diamond - ‘America’
- Jimi Hendrix - ‘Star Spangled Banner’
