The Sex Pistols back with on world tour and with a Live DVD

The Sex Pistols

The Sex PistolsThe punk pioneers are back, and they’re here to stay for good. Since their tumultuous reunion, The Sex Pistols have stirred up the contemporary punk scene a great deal and have managed to influx a dose of retro, still fresh pure punk rock to their fans. This of course has left the band’s followers asking for more and seeing how Johnny Rotten and co. have always been considerate about their fans, they’ve decided to go on a world tour.

World tour may be a bit too much to say, as they’ll embark only for European and Japan performances, with a lonely US gig in between. Still have often do you get the chance to see the ultimate punk gods in the flesh? I though so..

For those who can’t manage to get at a SP concert, the band has prepared an alternative; the next best thing: a live DVD. The DVD is titled “There’ll Always Be an England” and is directed by Julien Temple, capturing the band playing a few performances from last year’s November, during the band’s series of consecutive shows at London’s Brixton Academy.  The digital disc will contain 16 tracks and can be bought starting June 30. Bellow you can check out the tracklist for the DVD and tour dates.
