Possibly the most charismatic guitar player of all time, maybe except Jimmy Page, Slash from [tag]Velvet Revolver[/tag] and former [tag]Guns N’ Roses[/tag] is set to make an appearance in the best guitar simulator video game: Guitar Hero III. Guitar Hero III will be the third official installment in the Guitar Hero video game series, series notable for its use of a guitar-shaped peripheral to simulate the playing of rock music. The most publicized and awaited release of this week has to be “Zeitgeist” from [tag]The Smashing Pumpkins[/tag], but from what i’ve read so far it’s been a critical fiasco. An interesting band that caught my eye some time ago is the English band…

[tag]The Cribs[/tag] are back with a less controversial video named “Moving Pictures”, from the bands third LP “Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever”. The end of your iPod ?

Reports say the largest record label, Universal Music, won’t renew its contract with the highly popular download store iTunes. I see this as a strange move by Universal. Universal Music has contracts with the majority of big names out there in the music business, from [tag]U2[/tag] to [tag]Eminem[/tag]. This recent action comes some what as a shock to me. This is a no win situation for either sides; iTunes loses money because people won’t find…
