AC/DC to enter the studio in March

Australian legendary hard rock icons AC/DC haven’t launched a new album for 7 years (even more when I stop to think about it), and despite this, they’re still on the lips of a huge army of fans. They’ve done so much for rock, but certainly they can do oh so much more; and what better way to do this rather than to release a record? “God, I’m ready,” bassist Cliff Williams said. The band will…

Wednesday smilejerker: great AC/DC and Metallica stand up comedy

Well one of my favorite comedians, Jim Breuer(you might know him as the goat guy, or from his hilarious act about how to drink without throwing up), happens to be a big hard rock and metal fan; and what could such a comedian do? Naturally, he would do an act about some bands. Well to cut a long story short, here they are! Check him out, he rocks! AC/DC: Metallica: YEAH!

AC/DC : Plug Me In (2 DVD set) (2007)

This is probably the most electrifying rock band in the world. From 1975 the band has made music and in a way that few rock bands can say they have. They have released this 2DVD set which contains over 5 hours of rare and unreleased LIVE video from AC/DC. It spans the entirety of their…

This weekend, between 08-10 June 2007, the ’07 Download Festival was held in the traditional location of Donington Park, where as usual there was some hard rocking. Some great bands played this year and really gave an outstanding performance, to name a few [tag]Iron Maiden[/tag], [tag] Linkin Park[/tag], [tag]My Chemical Romance[/tag], [tag]Marlyn Manson[/tag], [tag]Mastodon[/tag] (God do they surely know to pack some racket ! ) and a lot of great artists.

Appetite for Destruction album review

At the late ’80s heavy metal meant nothing but a good time. But then came [tag]Appetite for Destruction[/tag] and [tag]Guns N’ Roses[/tag] changed all that. The album is a dirty, dangerous, and mean record. They did that by going for a nasty edge to their songs and the lyrics made by Axl Rose make it very clearly that at the time he did not see much fun in the urban sprawl of L.A. and its…
