Lamb of God: Wrath

What’s one of the most intriguing metal figures in the United States, Richmond natives Lamb of God are back after a three years absence with their sixth installment, “Wranth.” The album continues more or less in the same directions, with very few subtle differences. But, hey, why fix something if it ain’t broken?
Swamp rockers the Black Lips are also back with a new LP, “200 Million Thousand,” one which continues in the same care-free, high in the sky, insanely fun manner like all the past stuff, but, of course, with a twist. Musicians, how immature some may may be, always evolve.
This week also marks the release of “Warchild presents Heroes,” a compilation as beautiful in its music, as it is tragic in its subject. This 16 track compilations gathers a lot of big names like Hot Chips, The Kooks, Elbow, Lily Allen, TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs or Franz Ferdinand around one common banner, the never ending struggle of provide humanitarian aid to children affected by war.
