Monolith fest final line-up announced [Mars Volta, Yeah, Yeah Yeahs, of Montreal, Phoenix and more!]

A while ago we told you how psyched we were about Monolith Fest‘s innovative use of social media by updating the band line-up over twitter each day. Seemed it more or less kinda worked, gaining them a lot of exposure and 1300 followers a twitter. Way to go, guys!

Anyway, the weekend at Red Rocks will definitely prove to be an awesome summer end’s road trip for all indie aficionados ’round the US. The final line-up for the two day fest was just recently announced (over twitter, evidently), so we can finally check out who’s playing when and what. Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the Mars Volta are the headliners, with equally notable bands on the side, like irl Talk, of Montreal, M. Ward, DOOM, The Walkmen, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, Frightened Rabbit, the Antlers, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Phoenix, Passion Pit, the Thermals, HEALTH, the Twilight Sad, Method Man & Red Man, Neon Indian and loads of other acts.

The festival will be held on September 12-13 at the Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Morrison, CO. A one days pass costs 52$ (until August 14th when it becomes 59,50$), while the two days pass is $95 – all on sale on the Monolith website.
