To sum this up, Thom Yorke has a touring band for his solo projects, alongside Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, Beck/R.E.M. drummer Joey Waronker, percussionist/multi-instrumentalist Mauro Refosco, and none other than RHCP’s Flea, one of the most awesome musician ever. As a small parenthesis, you guys should check Flea’s work with The Mars Volta (with John Frusciante as well), especially on the album De-Loused in the Comatorium. You’ll find some incredible funky jams that will simply rock your world.
Anyway, save yourself the time and don’t click on the ticketmaster links since they’ve already been sold out. I’m sure some of you die hard fans might crack a few ticks over craiglist. By the way, is it me or is this year ridiculous abundant in side band and super groups? [MP3s from Music Addiction & Black Raptor]
