New Erasure featuring Cyndi Lauper: ‘Early Bird’ (stream)

Synthpop duo, [tag]Erasure[/tag], have teamed up with platinum awarded artists Cyndi Lauper once again, on “Early Bird” a bouncy electronic duet between Lauper and Andy Bell available on their recently released “Storm Chaser” EP. The whole song is centered across the two singing, accompanied by a wall of synth beats and a oh-uh-oh chorus, that brings back a sense of ’80s vibe to it. It’s a excellent listen for all you retro fans and provides a nice walk through memory lane.
The two previously joined forces to co-headline the True Colors tour this past summer, sharing stages with Margaret Cho and The Gossip among others. Erasure’s Storm Chaser EP hit stores through Mute October 2nd and features eight remix and single versions of recently released tracks in addition to “Early Bird.”

How about putting up a picture of the REAL Cyndi Lauper??!! There are hundreds available on the Web if you take a minute to look! How insulting to her and her fans! This impersonator doesn’t even look like her!!

As another Cyndi Lauper fan, I appreciate you responding so quickly to the earlier post to correct her picture. As someone working in the music field, I’m sure you are aware that true fans are always passionate about their favorite proformers. While I would argue that the new image is not Cyndi Lauper, the reason I am writing is to remind you that your website is your business and your business should always have customer service. While you acted swiftly to make an effort to correct the image, you undermined your own efforts by adding the comment, “and chill…”. This flippant remark shows disrespect for the people visiting your site. (This is concerning because above, you invite feedback and comments.)

@Cyn Fan: Yes I agree I acted wrongfully, I was a bit in a hurry and Dave kinda tripped on my nerves with his accusation. I know I did wrong now, I meant no disrespect to Dave, nor any other fan or reader. Again, my deepest apologies.

What about ERASURE….Cindy Lauper looks great in the pic there’s no room for doubt, but ERASURE is the best thing in the recording of EARLY BIRD!!!!
