Last week, I told you all about how exited I was about the new Yeasayer album, post in which I shared a few details, scarce as they were, regarding the band’s new material. The hunger for more  fueled by that little news piece, might have irritated a lot of you, but today we’ve got a special treat. Streaming bellow is the first single off “Odd Blood” titled “Ambling Alp“. The song, as a whole, makes for an incredible uplifting experience, packed with memerising electro beats and a bright pulsating rhythm. So far, it seems a lot more sharper, defined and focused than anything on their debut, which can only make me wonder what gems I might get to find on the new Yeasayer. Odd Blood  will officially land on February 9, 2010 via Secretly Canadian.
