Green Day is an American punk rock band formed in 1987. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt, drummer Tré Cool and guitarist and backing vocalist Jason White, who became a full member after playing in the band as a session and touring guitarist for 13 years.[1] Cool replaced former drummer John Kiffmeyer in 1990, prior to the recording of the band's second studio album, Kerplunk (1992).
I am sure that everybody heard about the Green Day’s problems, and how Billie crashed his guitar at iHeartRadio Music Festival, and everybody thought that his act was very punk-rock, but he was actually having some drug issues; and the fact that they canceled their concerts, etc, etc. Well, great news everybody: Green Day is [...]

On 7th November, Green Day posted on their official website, a new video for: Stray Heart – a song from the latest released album, ¡Dos!. Feel free to watch the whole video, there are no Twilight sequences, and the song is quite nice too. Enjoy!
It’s been a really short while since they released the first trilogy album (‘Uno!’), and Green Day are already at it again. This comes in the aftermath of lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong entering rehab after his recent onstage tirade, something which led to several canceled concerts. [You can listen to the album here] If [...]
Green Day released a new video for the song “The Forgotten” – a video with scenes from Twilight: Breaking Dawn-Part 2. Somehow, I think that this event covers the fact they canceled all their scheduled live concerts for the following months, although the second part of their album trilogy: ‘¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré!, is due to [...]

Let’s face it, 2012 wasn’t the best year in music, but still there’s been quite a few brilliant releases. So what can we expect for next week? Quite a lot, actually. Perhaps the most anticipated album is Green Day’s “Uno!“, the first of an announced trilogy, especially considering Billy Joe Armstrong’s recent voice problems. It [...]
It’s not everyday that Green Day plays an intimate show for 250 superfans. It’s not everyday that anyone would expect punk rock powerhouse Green Day to be associated with the late jazzy bluesy Amy Winehouse. Obviously it’s not everyday that Green Day does the expected. After a rockin’ set of unreleased material at Tiki Bar in Costa Mesa that [...]
This week’s highlight is definitely Green Day‘s new record “21st Century Breakdown,” the follow-up to the band’s 2004 commercial success “American Idiot.” The punk rockers are looking pretty good at the moment, having a very good chance in topping the Billboard charts next week. Their 2007 reunion album, “Rise To Your Knees,” wasn’t seen very [...]

Then there’s “Rising Down,” the latest, highly anticipated studio effort from behalf of The Roots. Possibly this week’s highlight, however, is “Hard Candy,” the latest album from “the queen of [...]
