The new Muse album, “Resistance,” is out this week, and consequently expect to see the band all over TV and on tour (hopefully!). Bubblegum power pop isn’t exactly everybody’s favorite cup of tea, but you’ve gotta admit there’s something terribly fun about bubbly ballads, catchy loops and … The Bicycles. The way too short or way too long “What A Fool,” whichever of the two you believe, is a perfect example of the band’s carefree music. The video’s geeky technique is well damn hilarious, too! Directed by Nir Ben Jacob, The Walkmen’s latest video for the troubling “On The Water” starts innocent enough, featuring close ups with two really lovely bunnies, despite the CGI environment. Pitch black and stormy skies don’t foretell anything but trouble though, and the video gets a turn for the worst.
