The [tag]Sex Pistols[/tag] are an iconic and highly influential English punk rock band and they were described by the BBC as “the definitive English punk rock band.”. They were also credited with initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom. So they formed in London in 1975 and then they stopped the band in 1978 and got back together in 1996. There not much to say about the video for “Patty Lee”, basically there’s a fashionably dressed teenaged girl dancing on the band’s music all alone, that is until she’s joined by the band at the very end. Ouch bearded groovy…
New Interpol video: ‘No I In Threesome’
This is my favorite song from [tag]Interpol[/tag]’s masterpiece “Our Love To Admire”, it’s deep emotions that it inflicts upon listening are extraordinary, so I’m pretty pleased they decided to make a video for this as well and a very good one too, if you think how shady The Heinrich Maneuver was or how boring the live video for Mammoth was. Although the title might suggest a more explicit and sexual video, this isn’t the case;…
Download: LCD Soundsystem – ‘Down Into The Fire’
Here’s a little gem to take home, a track close to my heart from one of my favorite electro bands LCD Soundsystems, covering one my favorite ’70s artists Harry Nilsson. “Down Into The Fire”, the B side from the Daft Punk Is Playing At My House single, is one of those songs that makes you feel like you’re there with the band, alongside it, rocking your socks out, a real moment of magic. All the…
