2008 sounds great

2008First of all we hope you had a very good year and enjoyed Christmas (in case you are Christian) and may you have a happy new year. Kudos to those who still find the time to read us in these days; you made our year good. For us it was a very busy yet rewarding year with lots of good music to choose from. We tried to give props to those who deserved it and we spoke our mind when we believed something was bad. At this moment we are awaiting for the following year when undoubtedly more and more records and songs are going to be released and we shall do our best to give the best to you.

The year which is knocking at our door and which we eagerly await for sounds very exciting when you look at what records are announced. Eminem and Dr. Dre have both announced records and they could very well bring hip hop to its peak along with Fat Joe and Ja Rule and others. BEP have announced a record as well.

Pop is doing pretty well in the list of announced releases as Mariah Carey and Madonna lead the way. Janet and Michael Jackson are there too; this could turn out really great. For rock it appears to be an amazing year as titans such as Aerosmith and AC/DC and Goo Goo Dolls are going to release most awaited records as well as U2. Metallica are trying to redeem themselves with another album which could bring back their well deserved glory and even the infamous Chinese Democracy sounds ready to be released; the hollyday spirit is everywhere so there are no jokes here..

Just to say a few names which are going to release records would be naming Lenny Kravitz, Sheryl Crow, Dido, Blur, The Cure, Coldplay, Morrissey, Muse, Nas, Nine Inch Nails, No Doubt, Oasis, Panic! At The Disco, Wolfmother. Now this list is fantastic to say the least. Still a special mention to Jack Johnson and The Counting Crows whose albums are of upmost interest as they promise to be truly fantastic; hope they are going to be. That nowhere near sums it up but rather it just gives you a clue about what to expect. Wishing you love and peace and happines ZME Music goes for a well deserved vacation. Cheers!!
