The Pixies map the Doolittle Anniversary tour

In honor of, what’s probably, The Pixies‘ most loved album “Doolittle” 20th anniversary, the band will head out on a North America/Europe tour where selected tracks from the album, plus B sides, will be performed. The first to get a glimpse of the influential alt rockers will be the European peeps, pretty soon enough starting late September/October. North America soon follows after that.

“We wanted to do something special for Doolittle’s 20th anniversary,” said Pixies guitarist/vocalist Black Francis, “and we thought his was a good opportunity to play all of the songs from that album, something we don’t normally do at a regular gig.”
