Adele to perform new Bond theme: “It’s a showstopper”

Of course, you couldn’t pick someone more appropriate than Adele for the new James bond them; her brassy, jazzy voice, and unique stage persona will definitely bring something special to the table. So far, the song hasn’t even leaked, but Showbiz 411.

The song is called “Let the Sky Fall” and her collaborator is indeed Paul Epworth, the man who co-wrote her big bit “Rolling in the Deep” and most of “21”. Obviously, this is good news. According to 411, the song is quite special:

“It’s an ominous, dramatic ballad, with lots of gorgeous horn flourishes peeking out through Adele’s now trademark vocals,” Roger Friedman writes. “It’s also fresh, new, and original.”

The chorus is the only thing I’ve been able to find:

“Let the sky fall/Let it crumble/We will stand tall/And face it all/together.”

Sounds like quite the Bond theme, doesn’t it? Also, Adele seems to be born to play a Bond theme. After a fair share of both successes and fails, this one will do just great, it seems.
