What the heck just happened? No, seriously, WHAT happened, Maya? As if it wasn’t enough M.I.A.‘s new album is totally disappointing, with respect to general musical standards (If I were to compare “Maya” to her previous other two records… well, you get the idea), last night’s Letterman performance topped anything one could call pathetic. I’m still pretty shocked! Honestly, I’m not even sure if it was bad BAD or intentionally bad – you never fucking know what these hipsters are up to.
