Band of Skulls to Embark on European Tour

Left to right: Russell Marsden (guitar, vocals), Emma Richardson (bass, vocals), and Matt Hayward (drums.).

Angsty English garage rock trio Band of Skulls has just announced their up-and-coming European tour, to be held in October of this year.

With their tricky, hang-on-the-wire rhythms and delicate harmonies, Band of Skulls made their name in the tough world of indie rock; on the other hand, they are not afraid to pull out the muddy guitar of eras long ago.  Perhaps you’ve heard their gritty tune “Light of the Morning” pumped through a Ford Mustang commercial; perhaps you only paid attention to the first voracious line, “I wanna see you in the mornin!”. In any case, emotion seems to be brimming over the sides of Baby Darling Doll Face Honey, (their debut album, released in 2009), and since they  will be touring in support of said album, each show is sure to pack a punch.

With only seven dates lined up, tickets will be devoured quickly!

Here are the dates for October:

October 13; Melkweg ; Amsterdam

October 14; Molotow; Hamburg

October 15; Levee; Berlin

October 17; Gebaude 9; Cologne

October 18; La Maroquinerie; Paris

October 19; Botanique/Rotonde; Brussels

October 20; Heaven; London

You won’t want to miss this sinewy yet delicate trio…
