Goo Goo Dolls to play free intimate gig on 15/11

Next week will see the legendary pop rock band [tag]The Goo Goo Dolls[/tag] release their long awaited best of volume, titled “The Goo Goo Dolls Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 – The Singles.” For their fans however they have something a little more special in mind.

In an exciting promotion for their forthcoming release, the Goo Goo Dolls, one
of the great American rock and roll bands of our generation, will perform a
free 30-minute concert on Thursday, November 15th at 7:00pm for customers
who purchase their copy of the album from consumer electronics retailer Best
Buy on the street date of Tuesday, November 13th. The day when Greatest Hits Vol 1 hits the stores, via Warner Bros.

Records, fans will be directed by the band’s website (www.googoodolls.com) and MySpace page (www.myspace.com/googoodolls) to 20 participating Best Buy locations in Southern California to purchase their copy. The first several hundred people who buy the album will receive one wristband allowing them entry into a special performance in the parking lot atop the Best Buy location at 11301 W. Pico Blvd. in Los Angeles. All wristbands will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
