Weezer announces release date for upcoming LP + Radiohead signs North American deal

Happy day boys and girls! At last some facts and info about [tag]Weezer[/tag]’s upcoming sixth studio effort, have been revealed. That means that their forthcoming LP, suggestively titled Album Six (not very creative guys… ) has a release date, scheduled forĀ April 22, 2008.
“Weezer fans truly have something to look forward to,” gushed Weezer bassist Scott Shriner about the new Weezer album on the Weezer website. “The entire band has accomplished some of its most challenging goals as a group and as individuals. It’s all coming together on this album.” Happy, happy day!
Oh, and on a similar note [tag]Radiohead[/tag] have announced the label that will be in charge of distributing the physical In Rainbows CD in North America. As expected it’s ATO Records who will be delivering your favorite multicolored CD in a record store new you, in the US and Canada. As for the rest of the world, as previously reported, XL will take over.
