Gorillaz embarks on brief intimate UK tour

Released just this week, Plastic Beach already has a slew of almost unanimous critical acclaim, but Damon Albarn isn’t sitting on his laurels yet, though. As a really sweet ‘thank you’ to all of their fans, the cartoon band will play intimate dates in Portsmouth, Bristol, Cambridge, Brighton, Birmingham and Lincoln as a warm-up for their headline slot at Coachella in California in April. Tickets for the shows are limited to two per person and are available to members of the Gorillaz fanclub, the G-Club, only. You can join the fanclub for £24.99 by going to the official Gorillaz website.

March 23: Cambridge Juncition
March 25: Brighton Old Market
March 26: Birmingham Irish Centre
