Iron & Wine reveals tour dates
Sam Beam, better known by his stage name of Iron & Wine, is a man of many talents; a multi-instrumentalist, exceptional songwriter and a talented film maker as well, being responsible for the making of all of his music videos. His third studio effort, The Shepherd’s Dog, is a marvelous indie folk arrangement, that provides a more extended palette, compared with his other previous two records, with better percussion and fleshed-out arrangements.
His also a renowned excellent live performer, those of you who are accustomed with his shows know what I mean; recently Sam and his touring band (a eight piece band so far) announced their 2008 European gig dates, in addition to the Nov/December US shows. Dates after the jump.

I saw him in 05 with Calexico and it was one of the best shows I’ve been to. I really love Sheapards Dog and would love to see him play those new tracks live, but it doesn’t look like he’s coming back this tour
Will you be able to see him this tour?

I may be able to see him in Germany, January 08. It depends on my time and if I can get some backstage passes
