Radiohead to release their new record “In Rainbows” next week
Mon, Oct 1, 2007

This is fucking massive gents! Not only did Radiohead announce the tracklist and the title for their upcoming seventh album, but they shocked everyone by releasing it on such short notice, that means that starting from October 10 you can experience its magic. Here’s the spark that light the world on fire yesterday, a blogpost on the band’s Dead Air Space.
Hello everyone.
Well, the new album is finished, and it’s coming out in 10 days;
We’ve called it In Rainbows.
Love from us all.
Jonny
Well that was a bit vague and out of nowhere, wasn’t it? Don’t worry once your on the LP7 webpage, you’ll know it’s for real. In short “In Rainbows” comes in 2 formats: download and discbox. I think it’s pretty clear what the “download” option employs so let’s elaborate the discbox feature.
It contains a CD with “In Rainbows”, plus a 2 X 12 inch heavyweight vinyl records. It also includes a second CD with new songs, rare digital photos and artworks, plus lyric booklets all packed hardback book and slipcase. Well that’s really neat and all, but isn’t that a bit expensive? Well how does £40.00 (81.00$) sound ? When analyzing all the merc you’re getting for and considering this is a self-released LP (Radiohead isn’t singed to any label) makes me thing it’s worth every penny.
But wait the lads are feeling a bit generous too, that means that if you choose the download option you can pay as much as you like, that means either 100$ or 1$ or 0$ (?!). We’re not too sure yet. The discbox sets will be shipped starting from December 3, while you can download “In Rainbows” from October 10.
