Ben Lee: The Rebirth of Venus

This week’s feature release is, undoubtedly, Lily Allen‘s follow-up to her extraordinary debut, that outshines all other releases, albeit a very slow week. I won’t got into too much details with “It’s Not Me, It’s You,” since Al Byrne wrote an excellent (positive, too) review, covering about everything. Read it here. Dan Auerbach, the other half of The Black Keys, is releasing a solo album, dubbed “Keep It Hid,” and if it’s half as good as his band’s last album, then it’s definitely worth the buck.

Also, be sure to keep a steady eye the latest effort from the Aussie indie pop star, Ben Lee, too, titled “The Rebirth of Venus.” Worth noting is that a percentage of his album sales will be donated to the FINCA Village Banking program, which offers small loans to low-income female entrepreneurs around the world.
