Animal Collective launch ‘Crimson’, reschedule cancelled concerts

Animal Collective’s recent staple is finally getting an official release: Crimson will serve as a b-side to the latest Centipede Hz single, “Applesauce.” The video is out, but the 10″ single will be out on November 13.

Last month, the band cancelled a show in Williamsburg, Brooklyn due to Avey Tare’s laryngitis – but the band are trying to make up for the that. The new, make-up dates are December 4 and 5 at Terminal 5 in Manhattan. Some proceeds will benefit the Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief. If you bought a ticket for the cancelled dates, you can get a new ticket for these new concerts before they are put up for sale.
