I listened to Nathan Williams‘ early 2009 release of “Wavvves” quite a lot over the year, as I grew ever more fascinated by his skillful mix of lo-fi and noise-punk that turned in so many great jams found on the record. Wavves is definitely one of the biggest revelations of the year  for me, sharing a top seat spot among Bike For Three! and Phoenix.

If you liked Wavvves just as much as I did or, better yet, if you’ve never listened to any of Nathan’s music before, then you should definitely this brand new track he recently released, titled “Cool Jumper.” The chaotic overlay of sound and trippy beat are just insane!
