Paul David Hewson (born 10 May 1960), known by his stage name Bono (/ËbÉnoÊ/ BON-oh), is an Irish singer, musician, venture capitalist and humanitarian best known for being the main vocalist and lyricist of the Dublin-based rock band U2. Bono was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, and attended Mount Temple Comprehensive School where he met his future wife, Alison Stewart, and the future members of U2.[2][3][4] Bono writes almost all U2 lyrics, frequently using religious and social, and occasional political themes.[5][6] During their early years, Bono's lyrics contributed to U2's rebellious and spiritual tone.[5] As the band matured, his lyrics became inspired more by personal experiences shared with members of U2.[3][5]

When it comes to it, U2 are among the big guns, among the fabled few who managed to deliver great music for a long period of time. In fact, they pretty much covered everything, adapting their style to the current tendencies, or even adapting the current tendencies to their music. This comes as a sequel [...]
After a lifetime of playing soldout to crowds and in every corner of the world, U2 have done what their fans do all the time: line up to see a u2 show. That concert was “U2 3D,” a film of the band’s 2005-06 Vertigo tour, shot at several shows in South America with new 3-D [...]
