Led Zeppelin O2 Arena DVD might see the light of day

Led Zeppelin’s recent, and possibly only, massive reunion gig that took place last December at the O2 Arena, might get on DVD. Speaking in the upcoming May issue of Uncut, the band’s guitarist Jimmy Page admitted that they had a crew that filmed the December 10 show, but confessed there wasn’t any intention whatsoever to convert the footage into a live DVD. “It was recorded, but we didn’t go in with the express purpose of…

B.B. King buys landmark juke joint

Well to tell you the truth I can’t imagine what it was like decades ago, when blues singers went into juke joints and sang their lungs and fingers off, for food and something to drink, or for very few cash in the fortunate cases. Anyway, the feel and groove must have been fantastic; and who knows this better than B.B. King? To celebrate those days, he bought Club Ebony in Indianola, which has been owned…

Then, in the silence, he started to slowly clap his hands, once every few seconds. Holding the audience in…

Details concerning their upcoming tenth studio album, titled “Rising Down,” have just recently surface,  as band member ?uestlove calls the new record “probably our most political album to date, dealing with addiction, nihilism, hypocritical double standards in the prison system, and overall life in Philadelphia.” He soon follows-up saying Rising Down is…

New Raconteurs album out next week!

Surprise, surprise. Jack White and The Raconteurs just went all maverick on us and just announced that they’ll release a new album and that no later then next week ! I mean Jack pulled some pretty wacky stunts in the past, the whole Meg White sister-wife thingy being the first to come to mind, but this just might top all of them. The news came out last night, as the band announced their new record…

Counting Crows eagerly awaited

Well I dunno about you, but I’m eagerly awaiting their new album; it’s among the top 3 in my most expected list this year. But aside from their studio work, they’re doing so much other things that keep them close to the fans and in the spot light.A really uncommon thing they’re doing is the fact that they’re going to attend some college shows; this is really great and I know some people are thrilled….

Bryan Adams returns with ’11’

As some of you know, Bryan Adams is set to return with ’11’, an album which consists of 11 songs (go figure). The bad thing is that it didn’t came out in 11 November, but the good thing is that it’s going to be released sooner than 2011. But it was finished since August, so why didn’t we get it? Well frankly, because the record labels are nowhere near dead as some sugges; they are…
