Five Finger Death Punch’s “Wrong Side of Heaven” debuts at No. 2

It should come as little to no surprise that arena-“metal” stalwarts Five Finger Death Punch’s latest release came in second on Billboard in its opening week.

The pretentiously titled The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1 sold 112,000 copies in its first week to chart a second-place position, a career high for the five-piece.

Say what you will about what it is they do – which they do very well, despite how tepid it is – but even the most hardcore fans have to admit that their cover of LL Cool J’s “Mama Said” on the standard edition (!) is easily the worst cover in the last half-decade.

Well done, America.
