Post filled in: News, Rock

Them Crooked VulturesThe supergroup is still amidst European festivals, much to the frustrations of North Americans, playing new song after new song, teasing the world with their awesome rock, until some day a proper tour and album release date will be finally announced. Their latest stint was at the Lowlands Festival where they played two incredible new songs, the grungy “Caligulove” and the heavy riffage jam “New Fang” (JPJ’s influence on this one can be smelled from miles away!).

The band is still up to no good, refusing to announce any proper tour dates, but we’ve got the next best thing in the form of the Google Earth plugin on TCV’s website. The current X marks the spot on the map is, by all accounts, the London’s Brixton Academy, where the band is alleged to open up for the Arctic Monkeys, whose new album Humbug was produced by Josh Homme. After that, chances have it UK festival goers might be able to get another glimpse of the supergroup at this weekend’s Reading and Leeds festivals, as both Artic Monkeys and old time buds Eagles of Death Metal are scheduled to play in the same day. I’d could definitely see JPJ, Grohl and Homme get squeezed in between sets.

‘Nough chit-chat, check out the two new songs bellow.
