Arctic Monkeys announces 2011 summer tour

This spring and summer Alex Turner and company will be all over the states side and Europe playing gigs in most major US cities and European capitals, as well as Japan for their stint at the Fuji Rock Fest. Their first leg starts at the beginning of May when they’ll be playing in Scandinavia, before crossing the Atlantic for a slew of dates which will keep them busy for the rest of the month. Then back to Europe, where they’ll be playing most of the major festivals like Rock Werchter, T in the Park, Oxegen etc, and back again to the US. It’s a ping-pong ride for the Arctic Monkeys, and one can only wonder how the band always manages to keep fresh and perform tightly gig after gig.

The Arctic Monkeys‘ new album “Suck It and See” will be out June 6th on Domino/Warner Bros. Check out the full tour dates with their respective venues right after the jump.
