New Bat for Lashes video - ‘Sleep Alone’
I expected a more mystical approach in the video for the eerie “Sleep Alone,” at least somewhere along the lines of Pearl’s Dream. However, even though it’s not very spiritually/mystical and so on, the video is still very much weird and packed with subtleties.
At heart, it’s quite simple. Nat can’t stand to sleep alone, so she builds a robot like guardian, which she dreamt, out of cardboard and weird red triangles which she gathered from a sort of treasure hunt.
Weird and dreamy. Yes, I love it!
