Post filled in: Experimental Rock, Indie
As expected, Animal Collective is indeed rolling out a new album in January, in the form of the upcoming Merryweather Post Pavilion via Domino Records. The news that the follow-up to last year’s fabulous Strawberry Jam will be available starting from January 29th on CD, double LP, and digital formats, came the other day with the press release we received.
If you’re curious about the recording process, it took place in Oxford, Mississippi’s Sweet Tea Recording Studio, with old collaborator Ben Allen, as the producer.
Tracklist bellow:
- In the Flowers
- My Girls
- Also Frightened
- Summertime Clothes
- Daily Routine
- Bluish
- Guys Eyes
- Taste
- Lion in a Com
- No More Runnin
- Brothersport
The tracklist may seem quite brief, but the songs comprising them more then make up for the lack of quantity. Chris of Gorilla vs Bear, found quite a few songs of the above tracklist and linked to the proper mp3/stream of the songs. Check it out here. Brothersport is amazing!
Chris also shared an awesome Panda Bear remix, check it out bellow. [original link]
