Radiohead with a new year webcast + YouTube’s first ever full length concert

A big happy new year, for all you faithful readers, is in order for this first post of 2008; without your constant support we probably couldn’t have found the motivation to go on with our work. Anyway after a few days of hard drinkin’ well deserved rest, we’re back on the saddle and it seems like the band we’ve blogged the most in the past year is still here to stay. Yeah folks [tag]Radiohead[/tag] recently posted, on New Year’s eve, a really great webcast, suggestively dubbed Scotch_Mist (?), containing live performed songs (Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, Bodysnatchers, Jigsaw Falling Into Place, 15 Step, Videotape, Reckoner, House Of Cards and All I Need), a track from the previous webcast (Faust Arp – Jonny & Thom) and a video for Nude. Basically a In Rainbows session, that can be viewed bellow.

Oh also if you’ve mist it, also on New Year’s eve YouTube‘s first ever full length concert took place in a secret New York location. Headlining the short concert was Montreal’s own five piece [tag]Simple Plan[/tag], that managed to give a awesome performance for the hundread of ecstatic fans near stage and other millions watching the concert live. The full-length concert event – also featured critically acclaimed rapper Talib Kweli and the winner of YouTube’s first ever “OnTheRise” rap competition, Conceit. Check Out all the concert footage, behind-the-scenes interviews and soundchecks here. Bellow is the full Simple Plan performance.
