infinitearms

Band of Horses‘ highly anticipated latest effort, “Infinite Arms” (what a brilliant cover art. don’t you think?), is finally out this week, much to the delight of millions of indie peeps in the world. We’ve posted the album stream last week, so let’s hear some thoughts regarding it. I, for one, believe it’s their best yet.

Hold your band of horses for a second though, since this week also marks the release of LCD Soundsystem‘s “This Is Happening” and The Black Keys‘ “Brothers“. Yeah, this is one sweet week!

“American dependence on fossil fuels isn’t going to end any time soon: solar panels and wind turbines provided only about a half per cent of total U.S. energy consumption in 2007, and they don’t work when the sun isn’t shining or the wind isn’t blowing.”

The statement above is an inescapable fact whether you like it or not. I know this for a fact with my vacuum tube water heating, Solar space heating, super insulation. Not yet fitted Solar panels but is the best place to invest spare money – coming soon… Right now on this dull, damp, calm day; my central heating is on.
