Don’t miss MFNW shows from 6-9 September

The now traditional annual Portland MFNW ( Music Fest Northwest) is quickly approaching and we thought you might like to know a few things about this years sixth edition. For those of you who don’t know anything about MFNW here’s what it’s all about: it’s been established in the year 2001, made by and for the Northwest music community, mainly showcasing the talented people living in Portland. This year is expected to be the biggest one yet, with a lot of people expected to showup from all over the Northwestern part of the US to see over 100 bands live.

Later today the festival officials have announced the addition of a few great names, that the viewers will have the chance to see live free of charge, courtesy of NIKE. These bands are:

To gain entrance, you can pick up a free Nike Pass available at both Jackpot Records locations, on the day of each show starting at 10am (when the store opens) or admitted with a MFNW wristband. Jacpot Records booths are located Downtown (203 SW 9th Ave), and Southeast (3736 SE Hawthorne) in Portland, OR; if you don’t feel like staying in line you ca buy a MFNW wristband and be able to see all the dousing gigs playing in the festival, for 40$ or even better a VIP Badge for 140$, that is more comfortable. You can buy tickets, wristbands and badges from MFNW website.
